Welcome back

In a blatent attempt to make my blog a bit less boring I thought I would celebrate the return of the mis shapen veg.

This huge heart shaped MP is brought to you courtesy of hard work by MEPs to allow such wonderful aberrations back into the shops.

The young woman on the checkout and I had a bit of a heart v bottom debate, and we decided to go for the more romantic option.
I know I'm 'off topic' here and I'm sure this will have me drummed out of the various 'Craft/sewing/creative' blog lists I've attached myself to, but it had be done.

We ate it.

I love the romantic/erotic vegetable (should it become a potato stamp?), but I have to add that your blog is NOT boring. Your work is beautiful, and your posts are charming.

Your blog, dear Jackie, is anything but boring!
(And I adore your heart shaped potato!)

He hee - I love your heart shaped potato Jackie! And it bought a smile to my face. I agree with Victoria - your blog is never boring. A lovely place to visit :)

Well now, that is certainly something else, isn't it? Definitely a heart, though. It would make a most wonky bottom, I fear. Are you going to cook it, and if so, what is it to be??

You could NEVER be drummed out of any group, you posts are always such fun to read, and I loved the potato - hope it tasted good! Cheers, Robin

I can't wait for mis-shapen veg to be everywhere again, who said that carrots had to be straight anyhoo!?
I think you were right to decide on the heart option, what a saggy bottom it would have made!

Firstly ... your blog is never boring. Secondly, I'd say you are Esther Rantzen and I claim my £5, but since she's in the faux jungle at the moment, you can't be her. Perhaps we should start a 'blog with funny-shaped vegetables' list? I'm sure we could come up with a very amusing button :-D

How did you have your heart-shaped potato? Roasted? Mashed? Sautéed?

Oh, wish I could write 'boring' posts like you! How could you eat that darling potato? I'm surprised you didn't use it for printing ... there, you want it back now, don't you? Which of my 'faves' was it - tell me tomorrow? We should mail her to say 'Well done'?

Good grief - how foolish you are - you could have publicised it as a prophetic sign and set up a centre of pilgrimage and made loadsa money.

You aren't boring! I always find your chat entertaining and interesting, Jackie.

I loved the potato when it was a heart but since you mentioned it's resemblance to a bottom, eeek. I can't get that image out of my head. :(
