Review of 2008

The idea to do this came from Cathy Cullis of November Moon.

I wish everyone who reads or comments on my blog, wherever you are, a very Happy New Year.

Thank you for all your encouragement and support during 2008.

I hope to do some real Textile Art in 2009.*

If what yu have in this mosaic is not real textile work then look out 2009! I love all those sumptuous pictures together, lovely!

have been reading along for awhile without leaving word in the comments. I agree with Carol, word-for-word. Hope all the see-sawing for offspring has stopped or at least found some viable self-regulation. For me that kind of upset is usually more difficult to manage than my own.

That mosaic is so beautiful - it already IS real textile work!

I'm so pleased to have 'met' you in 2009 Jackie. I hope you and your loved ones all have a marvellous 2009.

I did one of those too, they're fun to make and your art looks fabulous all lined up in the mosaic. Happy New Year!

Print the mosaic off and frame it. It's gorgeous.
I can't wait for 2009 to see what you do next. If you have achieved all this in 8 months, what will you be doing this time next year? World Craft Blog Domination at the very least...

I could smack your legs for you, real textile art in 2009, indeed!!!
You are one of the most incredibly skilled artists I have ever come across. Don't make me cross again like that or there will be trouble sister!!!!

Fabulous - so much to be proud of in 2008 - such wonderful colours and fantastic combinations of textures. I can't wait to see what 2009 brings.

Oh my goodness, I better hold onto my hat for what you come up with in 2009, because honey, if what you have already been doing isn't real textile work, I don't know what is! You're fabulous!

Happy New Year, Jackie!

If Hens Teeth doesn't smack your legs then I will! Your mosaic has me salivating, you are such an inspiration to so many people. You are so skilled at so many things that it can sometimes make me feel like 'giving up' but you're such a nice person that I can't. But - as my NYR is to do 'my own thing' (Compare and despair!) then I'll just 'get on with it' and promise myself a 'mosaic' for 2009. Promise to show us how?
