I thought yesterdays post might have seemed a bit peevish but I have had a lot of comments and intersting points made.
Of course I've shot myself in the foot now haven't I?
I will try to reply, honestly!
I have had a message from a blogger in New Zealand who says she can't access my blog because it contains pornographic content!!!!!!!!!
Where?
(All Right..I know the cats nose is pink and hairy but perleeese....)
What can I do?
Have a lovely Mothers day everyone.
I will be making sure my mother does, so my experience will not be the same as yours.
I dream of being pampered and fussed over but as my two sons are permanently broke, don't drive and live away its not going to happen.
Ah well.

Lovely, lovely work. Am going to try and "root" through your past blogs and get to "know" your work. Happy mother's day. Even if your kids are broke and far away, they will be thinking of you. x
Help, I've become addicted to blogging! Because, after racing through the latest headlines on my home page and speed-reading any incoming e-mails, I then head straight to Blogger to read the latest posts from 'Dogdaisychains' and 'Love-Stitching-Red'. Last week's entry on the wool store was like an echo from the past - can't remember seeing skeins of wool hanging up for such a long time. Keep up the good work.
Very apt Jackie, it's a lovely piece.
Hope your Mother's Day is nicer than you expect! Your work is amazing as always. Have a great weekend!
Carolyn
ps. I am taking a short break from blogging and flickr until April, I will catch up with all your beautiful work when I'm around again!
This is such a feast for the eyes. I love all the colors. I loved seeing the inside of the wool store. It is something that I know very little about. The shop looked like it would be good for treasure hunting for that little something that's been pushed behind something and forgotten. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, I love this piece. Having never visited before I now know the rules!!
Please come for a visit anytime. I enjoyed seeing your work.
I've just spent a very pleasant 15 minutes having a look at some of your work Jackie - it is breathtaking. I love that Celtic Dragon!
Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a nice comment. Val
Thinking of you Jackie. I'm cooking dinner for my Mum... and Dad... and brother... and his wife... and my family! I did get chocolates from eldest son and flowers from my step children though which was lovely.
Hello. Im still waiting for my email response from yesterdays post. Ha, just kidding! I like the old piece - you are right - it could have been done for the Moucharabia theme. and i reckon that the New Zealanders are just upset 'cause you write about 'six' too much. :)
Thanks for coming by...apologies are never necessary.
P.
A wonderful piece! So beautiful colours!
Well I've just spent the best part of an hour looking for porn on your blog, and haven't found a single thing. Not a single solitary naughty bit.
*sigh*

This is a gorgeous piece of work and I'm glad you posted it even if it has been seen before. With regard to sons - perhaps you will get some lovely daughters-in-law. I am lucky in that respect too as mine is like another daughter to me. In fairness to my son, I should have said in my post that he gave me some lovely 'smellies' for my birthday.
Hi I just wanted to let you know that I have given you a Kreativ Blogger Award, just pop on over to my Blog to see.
Yes, you know they love you and are thinking of you (every day not just today)
That piece is wonderful, amazing isn't it, it fits the category perfectly.
what a lovely piece! i always love the bright colors, patterns and textures of your pieces. happy mother's day!!
I'm still laughing at Kittie's comment..... but seriously, your embroidered tryptych is gorgeous Jackie - and I LOVE the altered photo in the post below. I'm totally with you on 'Playing the Game' - the blogging world is all about being considerate and supportive. Maybe I'm lucky, but everyone I've met up to now is lovely!!!

Oooops! How did my name get in there twice? Must be the large Mothers Day Baileys I've been drinking!

The triptych is fantastic Jackie. I'm sure you had a lovely Mother's Day, making other people happy often gives us more happiness too.
Happy Mother's Day!! Once again, I have arrived for a visit after all the controversy was over! Drat. I do try to comment to those who leave comments for me and I'll comment on anything out there that grabs my attention. But if some never choose to return the favor, so be it. I do love the feeling of connecting with so many lovely souls across the globe. And I love your cat's nose!!
Also, I would be certain to be broke if I had gone to that Wool shop with you!! Such temptation!!
I could not stop laughing about you cat comment...you smutty girl...or was that an innocent comment and I am being the sauce pot as usual? thank you so much for the giggle...we watched a sad film this afternoon and when all is said and done ..... I felt sad that two little boys lost their mummy.... today of all days..thanks for the smile...H
OOh! this is a beautiful piece and really fits the theme marvellously. Thankyou for sharing.
Thanks for the comment on my blog -I am sure Moucharabia could introduce your two bits of equipment to each other - but you are rather a long way away.
He will travel for archery contests ...
Dear Jackie,
I love reading your blog! I do not have a blog but have been thinking about it. The cat pics are luvly!! No animals in the house at the moment but I look after the hens next door. Am I weird?! I look after 3 friends dogs when they are on holiday. I bought a Celtic brooch from you last year and you sent me some silk paper as well. Have been doing some machine embroidery on the silk that I make . Looks not too bad !!!! Regards Meg in W.Aust.
absolutely gorgeous!
and i hope you don't mind but i nominated you for a sisterhood/blog worth looking at award on my blog.
feel free to play or not
cheers
Oh, Jackie, I had a couple of posts to catch up on. Lovely vintage tweed that found you . . . know you were breathless when you saw it.
Totally hilarious supposition on the origin of the porno designation. A talented fiber artist with a wicked sense of humor. That is why we keep coming back.
:-)

Love the "window" piece and hope you had a nice day!
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your blog which I reached through a lot of blog convolutions. Your textile work is quite gorgeous and you have a lovely sense of colour and design and humour.
Beautiful stitching (as always) :) I have to comment on your previous post and say that I totally agree with what you said and many of the comments too! It can be peeving, at the very least. Still, it's a curious thing, blogging!
Take care

I'm supposed to be working, not blogging, I need a good kick up the beehind! Still, it's only Monday! Thanks for the comment :)
