Such a wonderful package even before I opened it. I only know about brown parcels.Didn't know you could get gorgeous bright ones like this.
A look at the label gave me a clue
Inside it was stuffed with lovely papers,
and an Arlee Original
Some fantastically soft copper foil
and gorgeous silver paper
There was also a huge bundle of velvets and some paper that looked like tea bag paper but I'm sure it can't be.
I approach it with timidity as I am not such an experimenter as arlee..the noted 'Mad Textile Scientist' who puts my playing safe to shame.
Thank you so much Arlee, it brightened my week and it was very generous and thoughtful of you.
There's nothing like that first day at home after a holiday and it was just perfect to cheer me up.

Aren't goodies from Arlee great? She always sends such wonderful inspiring treasures. Enjoy!
:} YAY!
The white is a handmade tissue paper. The copper foil will stitch or melt beautifully, the coloured papers are the Lutrador.

Great parcel and a beautiful Arlee original.
What lovely goodies - we will all be watching to see what you do with them. Playing safe is OK, especially if things turn out the way yours do.
A green and happy St. Patrick's Day to you!!
What a brilliant parcel of goodies. Loved the comment re being used to Brown Paper wrapping. We just don't "DO" it, do we?x
Oooh, who's a lucky girl?! xx Lovely!
I just love those posters that you rescued, Jackie. They are indeed treasures - remind me of all of those ladybird books I had when I was little. Divine x Can't part with them, can you?
