This is lovely, it's not over stitched! It's really cheerful and just what's needed to brighten these miserable dull days! Oh yes I saw my cousin yesterday for lunch, she was wearing the brooch I gave her at Christmas. She actually bought a new coat to complement the colours of the brooch. Is that a first do you think?
Not at all! The stitching provides great definition to the elements and complements the felt colours beautifully. Even though we're on holiday I couldn't resist checking your blog!!
Your work is beautiful! Do you by chance teach how to do your work? I really love your leaves. I have recently started working with wool to appliquie an embellish. I was hoping i coukd learn some new techniqus from you. Thank mollir baker

I don't think it's overstitched, I like the way the stitches define the individual motifs/elements, I think it brings it to life, makes it more 3d
It's lovely - gorgeous colours and NOT overstitched. x Jo
I don't think it is over stitched. It is a strong design and can carry the stitching perfectly. Glorious colours and lovely flowing shapes.

It's beautiful, I love the contrast between heavily stitched and unstitched - and the colours are fab! x

Looks lovely, and not at all overstitched - although I agree that there is such a thing and it is best avoided!
