MOOOOOOOO!!!

Two little parcels came in the post today.

It might well say 'YAY" on the box. I am so excited.
The wonderful people at MOO offered me a 'spend' in their shop in return for a blog post about their products.
I needed no convincing. I have been using MOO for a long time and I already recommend them to friends because their products are SO GOOD.
(You would not believe the offers from other companies I have turned down because I don't use them..knitting books; software scrapbooking programmes with potentially big financial rewards; free ipad cases..well I'm  thinking about that one!)

Anyway..back to moo..
Two parcels arrived so I opened the little one first.
A book of 90 stickers with my own photographs on them.

Thats what's so great about MOO. You use your own photos if you like and you can have every one of them different. Or you can buy ready made designs.

So here they are.

Now to the lovely big box..even the boxes are beautiful quality.

The first thing I got out was this little lidded box of 50 business cards for me.

As many different photos on the back as you like and your details on the front with one image or a logo which is the same on all of them.

 Aren't they lovely?

I also got 50 cards for my husband from 5 of his photos of projects he worked on.

This photo was on the front showing a painting in the process of being cleaned.

Some of them have the finished piece on the other side.

On to the next and most exciting packet of all.

25 Greetings cards. I have to tell you the quality is gorgeous. They are a very substantial matte card blank inside (but you can put a greeting in )

and what might loosely be called 'my logo' on the back.

I used photos of my work and other things appropriate for greetings cards.

Oohh yumyumyumyum. Its a delicious pile of loveliness.

I've looked into making cards from my work but its always been fraught with difficulty, Moo make it so easy.

There were also lovely white envelopes which were free but you can pay a bit extra for colours.

And finally.....100 deliciously sweet mini moo cards. I've had these before and was just thinking about ordering more when this offer arrived in the nick of time!

Like the business cards you can have as many different photographs on one side as you like, and a fixed one on the other side with your details.
These come in a lovely little lidded box.

NOW FOR THE SCIENCE: the lovely people at Moo sent me a sheet of copy for you my dear readers  .
Here beginneth...read and concentrate and some of this loveliness in the form of 50 business cards will be yours for absolutely free wherever you live in the world.

For the chance to own some moo cards, I might even get back into the studio and create something worthy of appearing on them. At this time of the year I need a huge kick up the wotsit :)

I've been using their products for years and love the quality, ease of use etc! I really like the big round stickers and put them on the back of all my business correspondence.

I love them too and yours all look superb, not sure my stuff could top that lot. To make mine stand out, I would certainly have to have lots of everything to put everywhere of course!!

I really like Moo cards as well, though I've recently been refashioning train tickets to use as cards instead!

That box of delights is wonderful! Great colour reproduction by the look of it. I need some MOO products over here in westest Wales to counteract all the BAA-ing in the fields around my studio! ;) I know of other artists who've used them so this would be a good chance to try them out!

How incredibly wonderful!!!!!!! I've just been asked to teach mixed media on my very first cruise WOO-HOO!!!!! And wouldn't these be lovely in representing me and my wackiness and uber creativeness, helping me leave my mark, or would that be watermark, tutu funny...........

Oh what gorgeous cards! I think I shall have to haunt you at craft fairs and collect your business cards (only joking!) I would put pictures of our gorgeous big cat on a set if I won them - then he could give them out to his fans.

I don't know that my work would stand out from the crowd, but I absolutely love your work on them!!! (But we know I love your work no matter where I see it!) They really do look great, I'm going to have to go check MOO out!

Your Moo cards are gorgeous. My husband has used them in the past for personal business cards and I've been wanting to order some too. I think that it'd be great fun to choose from some of the cloth dolls that I've made or the mini quilts that I make for swaps. (The only thing I have left of them are photos.)

they are fabulous Jackie, no wonder you were excited to receive them. I have no reason for business cards but you just can't fail with these.

Fantastic cards, and the stickers, ooh I love them! My cards would stick out as the would have a pic of my daughter and her "science truck" she is taking around Uganda teaching from- www.tasteforscience.org!

Your cards are beautiful Jackie. Your work just suits them perfectly. And Brian's look great too. Very collectable!

I've heard of Moo, but never actually tried them out - with your enthusiasm to encourage me, I might well be tracking them down soon!

No wonder you are thrilled with your parcels Jackie. Everything looks of such high quality and the photos you have chosen for the cards are beautiful. Moo sounds like an excellent firm to deal with.

I'd love to have a go at some Moo cards for my exhibition in June & as yours look so fabulous I might try some greetings cards, too, only the best quality for excellent work. The jewel colors I use in my work would stand out brightening up the greyest of days!

Wow! How lovely. Perfect post and perfect timing as I have never heard of MOO and I'm about to jumpstart my own little creative venture and was looking to have business cards made. Whether selected or not, MOO just received my business by looking at your beauties. How would mine stand out? The quality printing, for sure!

Your cards are lovely, the colours have come out beautifully.
I'm just (finally!) getting to the end of my applied arts degree course and will be off to the New Designers exhibition in London in the summer. So some moo cards would be just perfect to showcase my degree show pieces and to hand out at the exhibition!

Andrea Van Kleef said...

Some Moo cards would help me kick start my ceramics business. I've got a sample pack from them and am soooo impressed with the quality!

Vicki said...

Wow, stunning!
Beautiful artwork on quality cards - what a team!

As it happens, I ran out of business cards just last week.

So, could it be,
that serendipitously,
my Purple Fig Pottery,
might have cards made by MOO too?
Thanks for the opportunity :)

It looks to me, that to stand out from the rest...
MOO really is the best!

Oo they look beautiful! I really need some business cards to hand out when I exhibit for North Somerset Arts Week in May, in the hope of making my first pennies from my felted pictures. I would really like to think that mine could look as wonderful as yours but who knows?

There was a young man from Crewe,
Who filled Bee Hotels with Bamboo,
It was very hard,
Without a nice business card,
So he tried to win some from Moo!

Poetry isn't my strong point..... I'll stick to making Bee Hotels.

Lovely blog post.

I would love the chance to win some of these cards as I will soon be Mooving on from study to reality and I am sure my designs would stand out to the Max with Moo.

GILLIAN CHAPMAN said...

These look so FANTASTIC! The cards, the stickers, the boxes... I'm sure they would work beautifully for my felt designs.... And perfect timing for Open Studios this year! How could I make them stand out - well I'd certainly feature them on my blog too...

Unknown said...

I also use moo for my mini cards, stickers and greetings cards. I love the mini cards as they are like mini pieces of art and I along with many others love collecting them from many artists. The stickers add that special something when wrapping up a piece of work to send to someone and my cards are mini copies of my larger work so everyone can have something H-anne-Made. I totally love jackies work and cant wait to add to my mini card collection when I next see her at a show xx

Carol said...

Your cards are stunning Jackie! I think they are very 'mooooo-ving' and I want some! I will 'mooooo-ve' my prospective clients... and put one of my 'moooo' cows on them! I am going to check their website! Thanks for sharing... love all the materials and hubby's too!

I've admired MOO cards that fellow artist friends have gotten, and wanted to order many times. I can see from the quality of the printing that my woven textural felt would just LEAP off of the cards--- mOOve over , kidz! I would lOOve to win this contest! but, I have to say,if I had to pick, Mike the Bee Guy would get my vote. Plus, we really have to support anything that promotes the life of Bees...but, there IS two and three...and i would be mOOst honored to be either!!!! XxOO!!!!

I was really enjoying looking at the goodies - oohing and ahhing all over them - then the final comment from Hetty made me laugh out loud.

I've heard other people recommend Moo too.

To make my cards stand out, I would Moo-ve them to the front!

Great giveaway! I would love some business cards like those. I'd put pictures of my coffins on them!

WOW!!! Coincidence? I've JUST started exploring the internet for business cards and I definitely want something unique. Your MOO cards are very unique and quite attractive...frame-worthy even. I retired from corporate life and now I want to be a felt artist and open a little shop called "The Smiling Lamb"! I'm in the process of building a little studio in Oregon, plus I'd like to open an Etsy shop. Business cards are a must to attach to any sales (if I ever have any sales!) :-) Thanks for hosting this contest. I love your designs.

Nothing would be more exciting than receiving a parcel in the mail with my own business cards in professional print! It takes a lot of courage for an artist to put their work out there in world for all to see and having a set of professionally printed cards would really add to ones confidence. Just the thoughts of going into a gallery and handing them such a beautiful card would surely help open the door. Thanks to Moo and you for the great giveaway!

Oh, I love MOO- show me a person who doesn't! Yours are great!
I'd love to win. Since moving to Indiana I have become a full time artist! I have chosen to just say this instead of "I can't find a job". ha! I could use them to start trying to sell at local shops and I'm about to hit the craft fair circuit this summer! People are always loving my MOO cards...dang, can I sell my business cards? :0) I am ready to print some new ones with new oil paintings and mixed media collage! Wee! Sign me up. Thanks so much!

Before I got to the give away bit I was convinced to give Moo a go. How can I convince you that I'm witty and original? Well I'd like too leave a little Moo wherever I go, and let them speak speak for themselves.

Wow! What lovely cards! Whilst I can't think that my photos could match the quality of yours, it would be lovely to get a set of cards!

What fantastic products from the company, I'm not surprised you were happy to promote them on your blog. I will definetly have to buy some bits. Thanks for the link, we often think that others will already know about products out there and don't bother to mention them.

recently I found your blog via facebook, I admire your work for a while but it was an extra gift also toofind you here, to find inspiration here too. Normally I would not dare to participate in a giveaway when I give the first time give a comment, but too win something you made... that I can not pass. ☺ To answer the question, how I want to jump out? to be myself, use by creative minds and hands together, by enjoying nature and there to find the inspiration for my work. But just .... be myself. many greetings from Janine

Acornmoon said...

Your cards look beautiful, I was interested to read about the greeting cards, something I have been thinking about for some time now. I have shied away from printing my own because of the problem of cost and the thought of having hundreds of one design in order to be cost efficient. This might be the answer!
