Two by two

Its that time of year again...the annual 'Art and Garden ' event next weekend, and I haven't been making for quite some time, so I had a go this last week to get a bit of stock together. I had also promised some more brooches to a local gallery that I always keep supplied so making things in pairs seemed a good idea.

Not exactly alike but near enough.
It halves my thinking time and doubles the output.
Th etrouble is when you then split them into two separate orders they don't look like much. I showed the pink ones last time and I have added some deep scarlet ones.
When I thought I had enough for the gallery I made a few more singles in slightly different colours.
Slow and steady......

Shoshi, Jude, Magic Cochin, Heather, Sheep Rustler, Rachel, Aileen , Beverly, Beacee, Monica, Annie and Lyn thank you all for your comments. You are all 'No reply ' bloggers and because I don't reply individually it doesn't mean I don't appreciate your comments.

Hello Jackie, don't worry about the 'no reply' because we know you read our comments. Funny thing, we've checked our settings and the email thingy is ticked, so don't understand that one!
Anyway, as always, your brooches are lovely works of art and because you have such a wide colour range there is something for everyone.
Hope the art and garden event goes well - are you going to post some photos?

These are delightful - and halving the thinking while doubling the output sounds good to me!

I've tried a different identity method this time, as when I comment I don't get a box about email replies or not, and it must default to "No Reply"!

As gorgeous as ever - I'd love to see the process of you creating these, all those glowing colours and textures ....

Sooooooo beautiful! I still think my daughters head teacher could be doing with one of your green leafs. I can't believe that out of all the jewellery pieces I made this week that I did not make one to match my Mum. She is off singing this weekend and would have worn something on stage. Back to the deep purple and blues : )

Beautiful colours as ever, but you have so distracted me, my two big vices together, crisps and chocolate - must go, not feeling well!

Congratulations, my dear.
It's wonderful what you work.
are made of silk or Felt?
Is there a tutorial somewhere and I can teach
and work right?
I love your blog and I will return with pleasure.

It's probably just me but I get a whole different feel from these latest lovely textured pieces - I'm seeing spears and targes. Maybe cos I've just come back from Hadrian's Wall country!
