Spooky milkman - no footprints (at least not in this shot!)

I love that you posted these views. Your trees look stunning in their snow covered state. I'm still astounded that milk deliveries still exist!

That's a lot of snow! I think we're expected to get our tonight, so I won't be going far tomorrow. Your description of your walk made me laugh x

Well, it would look nice on a Christmas card....
I can't imagine it's much fun though. listening to the radio, it seems that the UK is virtually snowed in. Take care!
I can't believe you still have a milk man and milk bottles!!

same here. Took my poor hubby 4 hours to get home from work after a gruelling night shift! Some good news though, school is shut tommorrow, happy days!!!

Well, I was wondering how you were getting on... we have a similar amount here, snowed in, no cars on our road today. But guess who showed up? Yes, the milkman! They are National Heroes.

It's amazing how milkmen keep delivering the goods but so much else comes to a standstill. They are an endangered species and to be valued. The snow makes everywhere look so beautiful but also makes life very difficult for some. You have to be young to enjoy it fully! Lovely photos.

Well done milkie! We have had a bit of snow today again, but nowhere near as much as you.... I made it to work and back. :O)

We still have a milk delivery in our area! I gave up using them when I was at work, during the summer the milk kept going off! Mind you with this weather summer and milk going off is a distant memory! No snow where I am at the moment but it's due tonight.

lovely views - even we have had a foot of snow today - keep warm - we had to go to Asda for our milk as all the local shops had empty shelves!

Oh my goodness... you still have milkmen?!! How I envy you. The last milkman in my area stopped delivering when I was about 10, and I still miss it. I also miss just being able to buy milk in a glass bottle... haven't seen that in ages. (My daughter said that the biggest difference she noticed was how fresh all the food was over in England... I see she wasn't kidding.)

Also, those shots are lovely.

Snow can be a pain but don't the trees look beautiful?

Love these snow filled photo's. And the shot of the milk bottles made me smile. I remember in mu childhood we had glass milk bottles with foil tops. I miss those days!
We could with some of your cool weather over here - the Australian summer is hotting up (ick).
Dot xx
P.S. Don't envy you getting out and about in snow though. Snow always seems so pretty and romantic but I am sure the reality of it is quite different.

OMG, you still get milk delivered to your door? Not since I was a child have I seen that. How wonderful that it still exists.
More snow than we have. Enjoy it while it lasts. Beautiful photos.

Well, you look well 'snowed in'! It does look so pretty but I hope you've got food? I thought I'd done well to get post so your milkman is a star! I've braved the roads today and stocked up just in case it snows again.

I am with Jude, attaching some of those photos to card and using them for xams cards would be great!
The snow looks amazing, but I am still glad I don't get any here.
And yes, glass milk bottles and the milk man rules!

Your home is so charming. I love brick, and wish someday to have a cozy brick home myself. I would also like a milkman, but that's never going to happen here in Michigan!

Was your milk frozen solid? Ours was - that confused me when I tipped up the bottle to pour onto the porridge oats!

I stumbled into here via Silver Pebble's place - must come back again :-)

Stay safe in all that snow and ice.
