She has been a constant source of enjoyment, inspiration and encouragement to me on flickr and it was she who first gave me the suggestion that I might blog. Her blog is wondefully energetic and honest and what she doesn't know about rust , tension, and flowers isn't worth knowing, not to mention her corruscating trousers.
She has shown me how to link.
LOOK LOOK Arlee I can link!
Thank you so much.
Before you showed me the way I was keeping a big sheet of the html
(couldn't find a picture of a pillock which is my preferred description).
PS. Please don't forget to read
this post and this one which are both quite new and haven't had time to be read yet, and maybe even this one which has quite a bit of sewing and felt in it.
YAY! :}
ReplyDeleteI know it's frustrating sometimes---i had to learn all by myself for the first 2 years of my blogging, and wished i had someone who would help me. It's PIF in a sense.
And i am SO glad you DID start a blog---the rest of us THRIVE on seeing your work and insights!
Thanks too for the lovely linklove :}
Glad you started your blog! I love to read it...which brings me to my discovery...I had been reading your posts from bloglines. For some reason they weren't showing any updates of your posts. I thought you weren't posting at all! I came directly to your blog today and HOLY SCHMOLY you've been posting like crazy and I didn't even know it! Stupid bloglines!
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to get it figured out. Love the post below with your beloved old teddy bear! My most loved possession is a bunny, aptly named "Bunny" I have had her since I was three, and loved all the fur off of her. My children loved her with a passion too.
ReplyDeleteShe is a member of the family!
LOL...you sound like me. Struggling along learning slowly. I am still having an on and off battle with links. Sometimes they work and a lot of time they don't so maybe I need to come to you for instructions.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the new skills. I'm sorry I haven't read these latest posts, but your blog feed isn't updating in my Google Reader, and I don't understand why????
ReplyDeleteI'll try to work out what's going on. In the meantime, keep up the good work!
x
Phew Mary! I though it was just me. I you had been strangely quiet Jackie so came to blog direct and... I've missed loads of posts!!! I've now resubscribed so hopefully I won't miss anything else. (Bloglines does seem to have been playing up a bit recently).
ReplyDeleteYou've brought out the Sea Nymph boots as well... must go back and read that post. :o) Have missed you.
oh i can so relate. over the long weekend i was determined to add an etsy mini and a flickr badge to my blog. i struggled and got angry and was so wound up over it. then when i figured out how to do it it was so very simple. all i could do was say duh!! my first visit to your blog! i love your work!!
ReplyDeletehiya Jackie..tx for coming to see the blogs...
ReplyDeleteYes..the diamond pan works great!! It is just the false advertising I object to. I still love it..and use it a lot... it browns nicely... never had a thing stick to it. Not even an egg with no butter! I still can't believe that one myself.......
yesterday I used the tiniest bit of butter for flavour and some cracked black pepper...and browned some Basa fish for supper... mmmm
We found your blog tonight and really enjoyed ourselves here! Love your art; those shoes are wonderful! And of course, we love your dog as well! Best to you! We shall return!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Jackie. Well done with links, I still struggle - put one on to MMM swap site and it linked to Blogger Status - all it was , a dot in the wrong place - not a techy me!
