Hetty before Thursday
Hetty now.
Its like having a different dog.
I know she's cute with long hair but something 'Audrey Hepburn/Holly Golightly happens when shes's had a trim.
I know Holly Golightly didn't have an orange beard but...
Can't you see her in a
diamond tiara?
And just
look at her little tootsies.
Well Ok ..I know not everyone is as besotted as I am.
But who couldn't resist drooling at this?
Now, the reason they arrived in my possession was that I sent a piece of work to Dale for an exhibition in a show in Summer.
Owing to postal delay it didn't arrive in time but Dale did a feature on me it the online magazine. Threads in Fusion.
She returned the piece and filled the bag with these amazing beauties. They are stunning and I'm so grateful.
How wonderful to receive that in the mail!! I'll bet you were dancing around just tickled to death!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Hetty! Well she looks like a different dog!! What a cutie! Before and After!! :) I can't tell... do you ever paint her toenails??? Hugs! deb
I'm drooling over Hettie, glad I looked at my feeds list, a Schnauzer owner and lover through and through.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the yarns are nice, too. ;)
oops...Hetty.
ReplyDeleteHetty looks gorgeous - as usual.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad your piece did not arrive in time for the exhibition, but I had a good look in the magazine and I am way too far from Perth to have seen it there!
I just looove Dale's wool fibres and slushies. The colours are always so gorgeous. I need to order some more to continue with your course.
Hetty is just adorable whatever the haircut, and she knows it by the look of her :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise all those fantastic colours, a shame your piece didn't make it in time for the exhibition, but at least you got it back and it didn't get lost in the post.
It's so gorgeous.
Such lovely goodies from Dale and I know they have gone to a good home! Hetty looks gorgeous always - is she going on a Valentine's date?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Hettie is so adorable! And those fibres are gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteFabulous colours. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteGillx
My goodness - what fun you have piled up in front of you!
ReplyDeleteI think Hetty is pretty darned cute whether long or short!! Looks like Dale knows exactly what would make you happy too.
ReplyDeleteYour furry little pup is adorable! Love that exhibition piece...it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDale is fantastic to buy from. Her website is extensive, she offers great advice about her products and she is so prompt sending orders out. I usually get orders in New Zealand within four days - and it's over 3,000 miles away! I can't recommend her highly enough.
ReplyDeleteHetty is gorgeous and you've every right to be besotted. She looks a stunner with her new "do". What a shame your piece didn't arrive in time, living in Perth myself, I would have loved to have seen it. Dale's lovely and and its not surprising she would do something thoughtful like that. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow.. what a lovely surprise!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will do something absolutely fabulous with them :)
xx
Love that girl...and yes, she looks just like a filmstar :-)
ReplyDeleteThe silk is wonderful (but you do need smooth hands and nails, don't you ;-))
What a wonderful parcel to receive ... and such colours!
ReplyDeleteExactly the same thing happens with our mini wirehaired dachshund when he goes to the groomers ... he comes back looking very James Bond, and as if he should have a tux!
what a charming dog you have. we are looking to adopt one as soon as the house is relatively ready.
ReplyDeleteyour work gets better and better every day....have followed you forever on flickr.
Butifull dog, very proud.
