Love Blogging

Moving swiftly on.
New hearts
Thank you all for the lovely supportive comments on my last post.  It was so good to hear from people who don't normally comment offering their experiences and generally making me feel very good about my work.
Thats what blogging's for isn't it? Critics say its for those who need their ego massaging...well...thats me..I admit it.
The response I've had from bloggers have given me the confidence to do things I may not have in the past.

I didn't mean to spark a general criticism of the organisers of 'the event', or the other sellers. 
Some of my lovely blogging friends are taking part. People whose work I admire tremendously.
Really, I have so much to do there is hardly time for a Craft Market.
I am having my own little personal craft market here. 
These new leaves and hearts are part of it.

A veritable queue of people asking if they can buy my wares.
If I knew how..I would get an 'add to cart' button!

But in the meantime I have just added a few wobbly biscuits to my etsy shop.
I have a pile of potential brooches that didn't quite make it to pindom.
Like the bags of mis-shaped chocolates you can buy a bit cheaper in Thorntons.

    mine all mine!!!
    I do embroidery and sewing too and thought they would look pretty on handbags as christmas presents!

    I went back and read the previous post! Wow! When i look at your leaves i don't see how they could have rejected you. They are incredible. And you know what i like about them most? They are so obviously original. And the way you are going to display them on that homemade tree is just nothing short of genius.

    Try not to take their refection to heart. Maybe they had other reasons for not selecting you other than they didn't like your art. Maybe they ran out of room or they were going for a certain theme and yours didn't match....Who knows. But trust me darling your art is marvelous!

    I think it's pretty funny that you have to explain to us that they are rejects because they look so great we wouldn't have known! lol I wish I could make rejects like that! :O)

    Your work IS gorgeous. Critics say we blog because we need stroking? I never heard that. Anyway, its bull. We blog because we have something to say, share and show. Sometimes sell.

    I missed your last post but totally support you as an artist and I know you well deserve to be in any sales outlet there is! so there! You Go Girl! I'm glad all your followers jumped to your well deserved defense.

    Not only do you make fabulously wonderful art but you have a very entertaining blog, I love reading it even when you are rambling about things not related to your art. So keep on keepin' on.

    Just catching up after my trip & have to say I agree with all the supportive comments (millions of them!)Their loss, your leaves hearts feathers biscuits (?)& shapes are simply delicious. I get a kind of pet therapy stroking your beautiful postcard (if you get what I mean!)

    Next time you're near Oxford, do have a little visit - I'll be off to Woodstock soon...

    Oh I am cross...I missed it....do you have any mishapes that I could buy jackie, smallish for my hair clips...I now have magic glue toooooo....guess what I have lost 6lbs so far on my diet I am very proud of myself...

    I absolutely HAVE to have one of those Autumn leaves brooches - just SO gorgeous, but then I love all your work. Its the touchable strokable combination of velvet and tweed ....

    And maybe I blog for the same reasons - that is for feedback and encouragement from people who appreciate the same stuff, and whose opinion I really value. And boy do you NEED it on those days when you start wondering why you're wasting your time .....
