This is my first batch of brooches fro 2013. I started with a new shape. I was a bit unsure about it until I posted it on Facebook and wow! For those who don't do fb its a hive of activity on my page. I am overwhelmed.
On the one hand, I love all the affirmation it gives me, but on the other, I'm a bit stunned by what happens when I put a new batch of brooches on for example.
It gives me instant feedback so I can see whats popular or not.
Mind you, prices can put people off.
I've had a (yet another) rethink about my prices. They are higher in my etsy shop to keep my things in line with stockists, but I always give discount for returning customers, or perhaps fb 'likers' so its not too bad.
So here they are..the greens...
..the pale turquoises......
and the ambers.
But this is my favourite..pretty and romantic.
I enjoyed making this.
hi, not surprised you got positive feedback, they are all beautiful, ali
ReplyDeleteI think I must have missed these brooches on Facebook. The flame ones are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDon't apologise for high prices, your beautiful brooches are worth every penny and more!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful! I love the new shape....I want one of each... so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful and I am sure that a lot more work goes into producing them than one might at first imagine. Each one is a little work of art.
ReplyDeleteLovely as always Jackie. No need to apologize for your prices. They are realistic and reflect the work in each one.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so very beautiful! gr.

All of your work is so very lovely, I am utterly fascinated by each and every piece you produce.
ReplyDeleteYou have amazing talent, all beautiful! x
ReplyDeleteLove the new shape! And your prices are very reasonable, please don't undervalue your work. Getting into Fb is top of my resolutions, I'm scared but you're encouraging me.
ReplyDeleteAll so lovely but I really like your new flame shape!! x Jo
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed charming - a good start to the year!
ReplyDeleteHello Jackie,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Delighted to find you still at it. Personally, I best love the garnet red ones in the third image down! But as always, they are all stunning in their own unique way. And I'm glad that you're getting so much feedback. That's important (sometimes doesn't matter if its positive or negative) just not to feel like one's in a vacuum.
Hugs
Catherine
You've got a winner on your hands - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, and your prices are not high.
Wow that is HOT. Absolutely love this new shape and still love the "old" shapes as well. They always are new because they are individual, they stand on their own. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove all your shapes! Don't change your prices... you aren't in it to give them away.
ReplyDeleteHugs
absolutely beautiful and wonderful colour combinations as usual Jackie.
ReplyDeleteLove the new shapes and all the colours are scrummy.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely gorgeous, no wonder they are so popular! I just love the turquoise ones - each one is an amazing piece of art.
ReplyDeleteSee you Ballyvaughn??
You definitely deserve positive feedback on your work, and I know the pricing isn't out of line at all. There's a lot of work that goes into the creation of these I think.
ReplyDeleteOstatni najprzepiękniejszy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Jackie! Love those amber colored ones.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the picture of the first I thought it was an angel's wing! Now there's an ideas???? Loving the colours you've used here too.
ReplyDeleteThe flames are stunning as are all you other shapes :-) Unfortunately yes price can put people off but when you consider the amount of time it takes to make beautiful things the prices are not unrealistic.
