Not many words needed. These are what it says on the tin.
Little extracts from larger pieces, or should I say abstracts? Some of the areas I like from the larger pieces reworked as small squares.About 4 inches square. SOLD.

I love this bit where the silk fibres have spread over the wool felt, and make a sort of marble effect.
I think they look nice in a row.
Now listed on Etsy (Only the centre one available now)
Another little miniature that came into our house yesterday.
Involuntarily.
Jools our badboy cat was feeling bored with the expensive food we'd spread before him so went out out for a snack. He doesn't have many teeth so the snack escaped, besides he wasn't that hungry.
I caught him under a glass. The only damage was a wet back from the cat gums.
Sweet. Enormous eyes.
And now free.

These little pieces are wonderful. Do I spy an oak leaf though? Do I? It's not that season yet is it?
That mouse is adorable.
As in "free to a good home"? :O)))))) We always refer to this kind of cat behaviour as "Going out for a takeaway!".
Lovely little pieces of work.
The pieces of work are like little paintings and the mouse is a real cute one. hugzz...peebee
beautiful...what you made, what mouse is.
as i said on Flickr, sumptuous night mystery, these wonderful gems.
all our cats have teeth, lots of teeth...Greyman however has been known to rescue and drive to a field a few blocks away for release!
Lovely colours and textures. The mouse is sweet too!
I love these miniatures Jackie - they are beautiful and could be displayed either singly or 2,3 or 4 together in box frames.
I like mice but am not prepared to share my home with them. Glad you were able to rescue the little chap and that a good sucking was all he had to endure.
They're gorgeous, I like the first one especially :) And what a beautiful little mouse!
What lovelies, I especially like the first one with the white stitching on it. Glad the little pesky mouse only got a wet back and that you rescued him. Thanks for the visit to my blog the other day, it is always nice to hear from you. Lorrie
Love the little abstracts, very effective.
Poor wood mouse, glad he got away.
I would definitely prefer not to have any of Jools' miniatures! :-)
Exquisite small pieces!
Think I prefer your mouse to the lizard...did you see it on FB???
Lovely pieces..

Those are so pretty!
They make and awesome 4some.
Your like me could not would not be able to harm such little pretty eyes either.
Andrea.
What a lucky day for the little rodent, so cute!
Your pieces are wonderful, as always! I am a very big admirer of your art!
Your miniatures are lovely. Gorgeous and lucky little mouse. Glass jars are great for catching them, I have one permanently to hand!
Those are lovely pieces. Cats will do that to show how much they love you by bringing a treat. I'm glad the mouse if OK.
Beautiful! I love the marbling too. Cute mouse.
Your miniatures are perfect Jackie. Love that marble effect.
Must admit the mouse came as a surprise - he (or she?) IS rather cute, but not half as nice as your mini pieces are!!
Delightful, singly and in a row. And glad the poor wee mousie escaped safely!
Love the dark moodiness of these. They do make a beautiful set all lined up together.
What lovely miniatures - love the colours - no wonder they're selling like hotcakes! Glad that poor wee mousie was one that got away!
Beautiful little pieces - not sure about the meeces! x Jo
Gorgeous miniatures - wondrous colours and shapes, and I really like them grouped together. Maybe you should make a piece like that? Poor little mouse chap - glad to know that you saved him; we generally get them when they're beyond help ....
Lucy has no teeth and when she brings a friend into play they often escape behind something and I have to spend hours trying to catch it! Glad that little fella was freed!
and your work...well you know I always admire it Jackie.

So pretty! Your work that is. They mouse is kind of cute...if you like that sort of thing. Glad he wasn't hurt.
Beautiful work, Jackie! And that mouse... how darling. (Funny how cute they are when not in my house!) You are a good soul!
Thank you so much for this wonderful blog. I have enjoyed it and passed it on to my friends. I just posted a picture of our group on my blog too. Keep it going.
Yes, the miniatures are very successful - well done!
Jackie those little pieces are just fantastic
I love those little pieces, either singly or all together! I couldn't have a mouse near my house though. I have been catchiing up on your previous post and I am absolutely in awe of the Egyptian tentmakers' quilts. What a privelege to see them. Cheers
Written simply and tastefully. It’s pleasant to read. Thank u.
These are so interesting and detailed. Glad I found your blog - its full of inspirational stuff.
I love the 'baby' pieces, delightful.
Of course they sold! Lovely little art fragments!Glad wee mouse lives to fight another day.
Hi again Jackie. Yes I did visit Katie but I didn't realise that's where you had sent work to. I remembered reading your blog post about your visit and knew you had work somewhere but couldn't remember where. If I'd known I'd have made more of an effort to speak to her. She was very busy and the little car park outside was jam packed. I left my husband and children in the car so didn't get very long there.
At first I found getting a hold of some tweed like finding hens teeth! but the shed at Tarbert was wonderful. I'm not planning on using loads of it in my work so little bits were good for me. I just love how it reflects the colours of the landscape. In fact there was an excellent exhibition on in Stornoway all about that very subject but more about that in another post : )
These are absolutely stunning, I love them!!!
And the mouse is very sweet viewed through my laptop screen ;)
Hi there, probably not the most effective way for me to reply to you after your blog comment on my Great British Bake Off post but anyway... Re Cision button, I asked them for code to display the button but their code only went to their homepage so I hacked it to go to right page showing me! Hope that makes sense.
i like your work by the way, lovely colours, reminscent of peacock feathers.
Ah, ha! I found you again. Blogger played havoc with some of my favourites a while back and I list you!
Love these pieces, so tactile and they seem to glow.
I had to laugh at the tiny sweet mouse. Years ago when we first bought our old house and before we moved into it, we stored a chest of drawers there. One day I opened a drawer to spy a mama mouse and eight wee mousekins. I scooped her and the babies up into a brown paper bag and deposited them at the edge of the woods. Then I felt guilty about it and scooped them up again and took them right back into the house. My husband declared I had lost my mind. It didn't matter to me that they lived in the house until we took possession. I like to believe they were considerate enough to move on once we moved in, foolish one that I am.
Loved today's post and the little miniatures.
