Obsession Number 2
Pattern.
Or shape.
Or, more particularly, making patterns and shapes on my sewing machine.
Sometimes, I just have
so much fun.
But then there's the boring bit.
Includes ironing.
I keep meaning to tell you about 'unplugz' . Can you see it on my iron plug?
If you are constantly plugging and unplugging iron, sewing machine, lamp, etc. or if you have difficulty pulling plugs out, these are great. You get 9 in a packet for about £5 and labels to stick on to write the item on. Then you use the strip to pull out the plug.
I don't get any commission or anything, they are made by someone with whom I used to work and I think he deserves to succeed. The website is here with a little demo video.
I now pass this award as seen here to any other blogger who reads this.
Link back to me and write your 5 current obsessions. I am spreading mine out but you can do it all at once, and pass it on to 5 more bloggers. You can copy the picture but I haven't got round to it yet. I might not even get round to the other three.

What a good job you have your obsessions Jackie, or we would never have got to see your beautiful work. It's sad that there is always a boring part to every lovely job!
I would have to say one of my obsessions is oohing and aahing over the colours of your wonderful brooches!
Vibrant delicious colours and colour combintaions as ever. Are you a doodler by any chance? Sometimes patterns go round and round in my mind - then they just have to come out. Perhaps you doodle with textiles, whereas I use a humble biro.
Very cool patterns and shapes, Jackie. Patterns and shapes would be on my list of obsessions too.
Ooo! Oooo! I like theez. I think the larst wun looks like an alien.
I think your brooches are moving from lush rococco to fabulous 50's retro...I love it!
Love the brooches, but oh, that must be so tedious to stitch the metal backs on once you have had the "high" of stitching and designing as you go. x
I HATE putting the backs on my corsarges in fact i have a pile of them waiting....but having made the decision to do one last fair then make for pleasure and give for love, this should be the last time...have a lovely holiday...love H
Uniquely you! Very, very gorgeous!
I think one of the reasons I love your brooches so much is I can tell you have sooo much fun making them. They shout happiness.
I absolutely love those brooches - the colour, shape, texture - everything!
Kim xx
you are way too productive. You will need 3 stands!
What delicious colours! You are being soooo industrious. Please tell me this isn't all for Christmas? When is your craft fair?
