Daisy chain

These are much smaller flowers just over two inches wide and I've made them to wear as a necklace.

I satin stitched them , by hand, on to a handmade cord.
They can be moved up and down the length of the cord so they can be worn overlapping, up close to the neck,

or more loosely arranged with a space between.
I actually made more than 5 but I like it with this arrangement.
Do you think these are worth obsessing about or shall I stick with brooches?
This isn't me by the way, its Constance Truelove my mannequin, named after the very delightful and much missed lady who gave her to me.

  5. What a wonderful idea for a necklace! Wow, I can imagine custom daisy chains, lariat ones, long length, even skinny scarves.

Is Constance going out on the town? I saw some Mannequins in Burtons window - perhaps she needs a boyfriend?

  19. Absolutely you would do well to make more of these. In fact I saw something vaguely similar made with beads in an old Beadwork magazine a few days ago and was going to write to tell you about it and suggest that you consider giving necklaces a try. I guess my thoughts got to you through the Universe! Well done, I look forward to seeing more.
I just noticed that you have something like 219 followers. Wow, good thing we don't all write to you every day.

  20. You should make more of these. It is very nice and a great idea. You could even slide on of the flowers around to the back. I think they would be nice in a group of 3 also. Keep up the great work. :-)

Any chance you would consider writing a tutorial to show more insights on how you make your beautiful flowers? I'd really like to try to make some. They look lovely.
