November

 Another falling leaf.

This is interesting why?
Because the velvet in the centre used to be very dark and was in line for re dying. But first I bleached it and the result was these beautiful graduated shades of brown, green and cream.

I made a huge big leaf on Charleston themed felt.
What shall I do with it?

Its big for a brooch but may make a statement. I wish I made hats..its would look luscious on one.

Just leaf it as it is perhaps? (Sorry)

Its cold wet and grey outside so what do you do?

Well first you wriggle the hearth rug up and then lie on it and when your scary black and white friend comes to lie next to you..

keep as still as you can...

for fear of  the scritchy scratchy...

Your leaf is so beautifully coloured, very subtle shades brought out by the bleach.

Hetty and her black and white friend look gorgeous together. Thank you for the smile :-)

Love the leaf...which would look just awesome on a coat or a bag or a beret or anything at all at all really. We had a boxer who loved having her face washed by the cat...but always looked a bit sheepish, as if to say " I shouldn't be seen like this..."
Sadly she died 14years ago and we miss her heaps....
Love your animals even more than the leaf!

Lovely leaf again with gorgeous colouring!
And lovely pets; so sweet how they arrange one another on the rug.
Thank you for sharing!

Bleach gives a lovely effect to your colours. That beautiful big leaf could decorate a bag, book cover, pocket - almost anything.
Hettie and your cat look so sweet enjoying the fireside together. Even if they aren't the best of friends it's nice that they at least tolerate each other.

Love the leaf. Can't tell from the pictures that it is so big. Like the previous post... put it on a bag.

I think your leaf is gorgeous and could be lovely on a bag .... or a tree decoration for Xmas ... or make loads and make a wreath!

You could leaf it as it is, or how about a shawl pin, they can benefit from being big! Whatever you do with it it's lovely :)

The whippet boys greatly sympathise with Hetty, they would be very unhappy to share their fireside with a cat too!

I love the gorgeous leaf, it would look great on a plain knitted hat or a beret. Lovely pic of pet harmony!!

The colours in this are just so fantastic. Good that Hetty and her scary friend are prepared to share as the nights get colder.

The leaf is very special...and BIG brooches are good! Or it could be put in a small frame?

I love the Hetty/Scratchycat photo...so good that they're (almost) friends ;-)
