Hetty's first post.

          Hellooooooo!

My Mums been really busy, running up and down stairs, making a racket with her machine on the table upstairs .
First she made some hearts and she sent them to Munich.
The order was for 'quieter colours'

I heard her muttering something about it being too dark to take pictures.

Then she was asked to make some more pendants and these were what she came up with.
There was a lot more running up and downstairs with that thing she's always pointing at me  and I can tell you, its a lot easier now I've learnt to come down one step at a time.
I can follow her and if she's a bit slow I can nip her heels.
(She gets a bit cross if I do that)

Then someone asked her to make some purple pieces like her 'Noon a Purple Glow' piece.
(I don't know anything about that because I've only been here for three months)
 So she made these brooches.

She was grumbling again about the photos.

She's done a lot in that sewing room.....and I've helped.
Its a lot of work keeping my patch like this.
But someone's got to do it.
Those things won't chew themselves you know.

Oh..........................she says to tell you she'll be here on saturday and she's taking all her ETSY stuff with her so she's shutting up shop for the day.

I wonder where I'll be.....?

Hetty... how wonderful, your fur-st post! And how adorable you are! Tell your mum I'm quite a stalker of her blog, and love her work (but that I prefer her "louder" colors!). Keep up the good work with your area, heaven knows my own furry baby (who is much older than you) makes sure his is that way always. It does take some work to train your humans, but it seems you are doing a wonderful job! I hope extra treats are in the mix for you!

Hetty can you ask your mom what weight thread she uses and what brand it is? The thread work on her pieces always looks so good I am curious. And aren't you a good little girl helping out in her studio like that. Well done! :)

Good work Hetty. You're doing your job of making Mum happy, and that is very important for a small furry friend. Keep up the good work. Love the new brooches Mum has produced with your help. Good luck at the market Jackie.

Hetty you write a good post, your studio space looks brilliant I see you like cardboard tubes and tissues they make a lovely mess don't they! Nipping at the heels is a good trick, have you been chatting to Betsy about these things she does this too. You are such a good girl helping your mum to produce such lovely work, hope you and your mum have a great time on Saturday. I'm sure if your a good girl while she's away you'll get a big fuss and maybe a treat when she gets home ;-) x

Lovely to hear from you Hettie. I thought you were standing on your head in that photo! Mum has certainly been busy and I love the subtle colours of that first batch, although I love the brighter colours too.
She is so lucky to have you helping to keep her workroom messy - I have to do it all myself.
Hope the Christmas Fair goes well and you don't miss her too much while she is there.

Oh Hetty you have been busy...you have so much to do in a day, you must get very tired at times, making sure your Mum is kept out of mischief. If you would like to come here and play with Daisy Baby and Billy Button Nose on Saturday, you are very welcome. Tell Mum that I hope she sells lots and lots of her very beautiful wares. Much love sweetheart. x

Dear Hetty,
most impressed with your ability to type, must teach Max (Jack Russell) to learn but he is better at chasing bunnies and squirrels!! He is however also good at ripping things and loves to help me in my studio with knitting projects and yarn choices.
Tell your 'Mum' that I love the brooches received in the post this morning and if I didn't have the Flu right now I would go and see her at the Market in Manchester.
Take care Hetty and happy sewing (ripping) x

Hello Hetty, I love your area. My human does a lot of running up and downstairs too and sometimes she lets me follow her, I'd just like to recommend (puppy to puppy) a sneak to the bathroom when no-one is looking where all manner of lovely chewable stuff is to be found, such as loo roll inners, newpapers and even towels!! Keep up the blogging love Lollipop. xx

Congratulations Hetty on your first post. Now all you have to do is to learn how to use the thing that your mum points at you and get your own back.
