Heavenly Harris Tweed

Here's a 'sneeky peek' (a term well loved by many of you I've noticed!) of what I am doing with the fabulous fabric from the far North (bit of alliteration for you there).

OH Oh Oh I love it!
I love working with it.

I love looking at it and deciding which bit of velvet I'm going to put on it

which snippet of silk

and which little beads.
ONE DAY LEFT to the big draw.
I have almost 100 comments..only 8 to go.
A clear result is emerging.

(And Willow is on the magic drops so no more wet beds. Yippee!)

Oooh Jacky the bluey one with the red velvet is my fave. Gorgeous.
Think OH is going to have to visit one of your shops for Christmas (if I don't win the draw, that is lol).

Hi Jackie,
You know why you like working with these materials, the same reason why I like embroidering on to my own hand made felt. (especially with my hand spun/hand dyed silk)
It's the contrasts of tones and light. The way the velvet/silk changes the surface using light against the matt surface of the tweed. It's also the little unpredictability of it all. That's why I love looking at your work. I'd love to see it in close up. Enjoy your new tweed Bw Triciax

Gorgeous Jackie. Definitely strokeable. I'm glad you've got some help for Willow's little problem.
